I shall be leaving for Vienna at the end of next week so am only in Holland for a short time this visit! van Blankenburgstraat 58 Den Haag 28 May 1975 Tel. 070- 608 425 Dear Mrs Schröder-Schröder, I feel very guilty at not having answered your letter of* 4 April but in fact I only received it recently since I have been travelling for six weeks and it was eventually forwarded to me in London where it caught up with me. I very much enjoyed meeting you in the spring and I have, in fact, sent in my article to the Manchester Guardian. They are very pleased with it but would like me to develop one or two aspects more so I do hope it will be possible to see you soon. If you were free at all over this weekend or perhaps Monday morning, that would be marvellous. Now, to answer your questions: I have asked a friend of mine who is an editor of the arts section on a well-known national newspaper to see if he can find out Paul Overy's address. I shall let you have it as soon as I receive news. Secondly, yes, there was an article with colour reproductions of your house in the April issue of Harper & Queen magazine. I did not have a copy myself but I checked with friends. I tried to get you a copy but they were all sold out. I suggest, if you wish to have the article, that you write to the magazine and ask them to kindly send you a cutting. I have mislaid their address but will let you have it if I see you next week. Would you very kindly ring me up at the above telephone number so that we could arrange another meeting? Early morning (i.e. before 8.30 a.m.) would be best as I'm sure to be at home then. I do hope you are well and very many thanks for sending me the phctograph and also for your help and kindness in giving me a great deal of material for my article. I hope, perhaps, that when we meet you will be able to teil me more about your working relationship with Rietveld and how you complemented each other etc. Best wishes^, I look forward to hearing from you, Yours sincerely, Isn't this weather absolutei-v ^fonderful?
