Our library contains thousands of books about the collection. You can leaf through them in the Information Centre. The library itself can only be visited by appointment.

Housed in the Centraal Museum's office building, the library contains approximately 55,000 titles and mainly comprises documentation of the museum collection. The available documentation for every object in the online collection is listed.

The books in the Information Centre are available to browse but they cannot be taken out on loan. The library is open by appointment to researchers who would like to consult multiple titles. Contact: bibliotheek@centraalmuseum.nl.
