In this tour, you'll see how art depicts the relationship between people and nature. Sometimes nature is elevated to a status symbol; sometimes we experience it as threatening or even lethal. And sometimes, fear of natural disasters actually encourages us to care and charity. The tour, voiced by Geertje Dekkers — curator of urban history, and guest speaker Annet Breure — plant storyteller, takes you through a number of extraordinary works from the collection, including Deadly Nightshade by Sanam Khatibi and Bottled Humanism by Tetsumi Kudo.
