Request an image
Simply order a digital image of an object from the collection.
The Image Documentation Department manages a large collection of images of objects in the museum collection. In addition, there is an archive with overview recordings of the exhibitions held at the Centraal Museum.
Via Collection online royalty-free images from the “public domain” can be downloaded free of charge. If the available resolution of the footage is not suitable for your purpose, or the footage is not in the public domain, you can order footage by emailing us at beelddocumentatie@centraalmuseum.nl. Always mention:
- inventory number
- creator
- title
- Preferred file format (tif, max. A4, 300 dpi or jpeg, max. 10x15 cm, 300 dpi)
- Category request (commercial, scientific, private)
- Description of use (reproductions (book, print, exhibition design, etc), internet video/TV)
- organization billing address
