Summer vacation: Statement Button Workshop
In the past, rights that we find normal today were often not so obvious at all. Many women who fought expressed their views via a statement on a button.

The achievements we have today have not always been obvious. A lot of people had to fight for this.
One way to make your voice heard is via a button. They are about women's place in the community, about self-determination and sexual orientation. Buttons were worn so that people could see what you stood for at a glance and used to be a necessary fashion accessory for many. Which statement would you like to put on a button today? Come and make your own button in the walk-in workshop. Participation is free with a valid museum ticket.
You don't have to make a reservation separately. Join the free walk-in workshop and create your own statement button.

About Good Mom/Bad Mom
Supermama. Regrettable parent. Raven mother. Single mom. Consciously non-mother. Wishing mother. Bonus mom. Adoptive mother. Co-mother. Never mother. There are countless variants of motherhood. Good Mom/Bad Mom is an exhibition about motherhood, about caring, about the politics of the womb, about emancipation.
The exhibition offers a contemporary reflection on the art-historical cliché of the “good mother” and takes visitors on a journey through the history of the imagination of motherhood: from ancient, stereotypical and often romanticized mother-and-child imaginations to works by new and exciting generations of artists who deal with this theme in their own — and often very personal — way.
