Would you like feedback on your artistic practice, portfolio or presentation? During HKU Exposure 2026, La Cassette, HKU and Centraal Museum are organising portfolio reviews for artists, photographers, fashion designers and other creative practitioners. The portfolio reviews are part of EXPOSURED, a two day programme at Centraal Museum as part of HKU Exposure 2026.
In a one-to-one review session of 15–20 minutes, you will have the opportunity to present your work to an experienced professional and receive valuable feedback, advice and insights. It is an excellent opportunity to refine your portfolio, ask questions and expand your professional network.
Review Panel
Your work will be reviewed by one of the following professionals:
- Wouter van Herwaarden (Galerie Wouter & Fleur)
- Dina Ziad (Founder of OP& Utrecht)
- KledingCast (fashion platform)
- Lois Cohen (photographer)
- Jan-Pieter 't Hart (De Appel Arts Centre)

Location: Tuinzaal, Centraal Museum Utrecht
Registration: Reserve your place (one review session per person)
Participation: Free of charge
The reviews are organised by La Cassette and Centraal Museum and are available by advance reservation only. Places are limited, and each participant may book a maximum of one review session.
Preparing for Your Review
To make the most of your session, we recommend preparing in advance. As reviews last only 15–20 minutes, it is important that you can present your work clearly and concisely.
Please bring:
- an artist statement (maximum one A4 page);
- a portfolio featuring multiple series or projects;
- where applicable, examples illustrating the distinction between your independent practice and commissioned work.
You may present your work digitally on a laptop or tablet, although physical materials are also welcome during the one-to-one review.
Registration
Participation is free of charge. Please reserve a time slot in advance via the registration form. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you are unexpectedly unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible at marketing@centraalmuseum.nl so that we can offer your place to another participant.
Drinks & Music
The afternoon does not end with the portfolio reviews. From 3.30 pm onwards, you are warmly invited to join us for drinks in the courtyard garden of Centraal Museum.
Meet fellow creatives, students and professionals, exchange ideas and continue the conversation after the reviews.
@puurvuur will provide the music; you bring the atmosphere.
The event concludes at 5.00 pm.
