Annex
Contemporary art as a reflection on the main exhibition.
The Annex is a program line for contemporary art. In a permanent location in the exhibition building—the last room of the Stables—we give artists a platform to offer a different perspective on the theme of the exhibition in the preceding rooms.
A different view
From their own perspective, artists comment on and reflect on current developments. Through their subjective view, the artists encourage visitors to look at things differently, not only at art, but also at society.
The experience in the Annex stays with visitors as they leave the exhibition. We hope that contemporary art broadens their horizons and that visitors see the exhibition in a different light on their way out.
