This is apparent from the discovery of many items such as combs, tweezers and even what appears to be a washbasin. Amulets were intended to protect the wearer from bad luck. The bracelets with snake heads symbolised immortality and fertility.</span></p>

    Deze Frankische armband is gevonden bij opgravingen op het Domplein in 1933. De uiteinden zijn versierd met slangenkoppen, waarin de ogen gevuld zijn met rode glasplaatjes.
