Tejo Remy likes to recycle discarded materials in his objects. He used old clothes in the Rag Chair and old drawers in Chest of Drawers. For the Milk Bottle Lamp he has recycled old milk bottles. The lamp hangs low above the floor as a reference to old-fashioned milk crates, in which the milk bottles would be placed on the doorstep in three rows of four.
