ABOUT THE MUSEUM
The Centraal Museum is the oldest city museum in the Netherlands. A world-class museum with strong Utrecht roots. The museum's mission is to broaden the visitor's view through art and culture. That is the guideline in everything we do. Our collection of visual arts, design, fashion and urban history is always the basis. The collection is the rich source that leads to exhibitions and activities. The collection provides opportunities to offer our visitors new perspectives that are often linked to current events.

Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board consists of Sheraiza Hasanradja (member), Bart Leferink (member), Imara Limon (member), Bart van Meegen (member), Maarten Prak (member), Jan Willem Steunenberg (member) and is chaired by Henriëtte Post (chairman).
The Centraal Museum has been an independent foundation since 2013 and has a Supervisory Board.t. The Supervisory Board follows the Cultural Governance Code, which stands for good governance, adequate supervision and transparent accountability. The current terms of office are published in the annual report.
Directorate
The Centraal Museum's management consists of Bart Rutten, Artistic Director since 2017 and Marco Grob, Business Director since 2009.
Team
The Centraal Museum is supported by an enthusiastic team of employees and volunteers. Thanks to their commitment, knowledge and enthusiasm, we can inspire and surprise our audience on a daily basis.
