Jurk

Jurk

Dubbed ‘The architects of fashion’, designer duo Klavers van Engelen consists of Niels Klavers and Astrid van Engelen. In 1998 Klavers became known for his experimental and conceptual collections, such as Show me your second face (1998) and Ceci n'est pas un pantalon (2000/2001). The focus of the first collections was not on wearability, but rather on exploring the form of specific items of clothing. The more recent creations have become more wearable, but still bear their signature style of technically refined, quirky, avant-garde and elegant design.
