Kinderstoel 'Bronto' (prototype)
Richard Hutten made this chair using a home-made rotating machine. He poured two materials, one hard plastic, one soft, into a mould and stirred them together. Since the materials mix differently every time, each chair is different. [text 2023]

Droog Design
Droog werd in 1993 opgericht door Renny Ramakers en Gijs Bakker met als doel Nederlandse vormgeving te promoten. De eerste Droog presentaties in Paradiso in Amsterdam en tijdens de Salone del Mobile in Milaan werden een wereldwijd succes. Droog stond op de kaart. De werken die de stichting promoot onderscheiden zich door het nuchtere, ironische en conceptuele karakter. Het was een springplank voor jonge ontwerpers als Hella Jongerius, Richard Hutten en Marcel Wanders.
