    Het beeldje is een verkleinde kopie naar het eikenhouten Salvatorbeeld (ca. 1520) dat op de Mariapomp op de Mariaplaats in Utrecht gestaan heeft en dat thans wordt bewaard in het Museum Catharijneconvent te Utrecht (inv.nr ABM bh 357).
