Celebrate Gerrit Rietveld’s Birthday on Rietveld day 2024!

Join us on Sunday, 23 June to celebrate the birthday of Gerrit Rietveld (born 24 June 1888) at our annual Rietveld Day. As a true native Utrechter Rietveld was born on Ooftstraat, had his furniture workshop on Adriaen van Ostadelaan, and designed iconic buildings and furniture throughout the city. His Red and Blue Chair remains a design icon to this day.
