Binding met Utrecht
Utrecht Lokaal is de opvolger van de programmalijn die eerder 'Nieuw Utrecht' of 'Utrecht kamers' is genoemd. Het gaat hierbij om recent, of soms speciaal voor de expositie gemaakt werk van kunstenaars van verschillende generaties. Dat wat hen bindt is dat ze allen in zekere zin Utrechts zijn.
