Annex
Actuele kunst als reflectie op de hoofdtentoonstelling.
De Annex is een programmalijn voor hedendaagse kunst. Op een vaste plek in het tentoonstellingsgebouw - de laatste zaal van de Stallen – geven we kunstenaars het podium om een andere kijk te geven op het thema van de tentoonstelling in de voorgaande zalen.
Een andere kijk
Vanuit hun eigen perspectief leveren kunstenaars commentaar en reflecteren ze op actuele ontwikkelingen. Door hun subjectieve blik laten de kunstenaars de bezoeker op een andere manier kijken, niet alleen naar kunst, maar ook naar de samenleving.
De ervaring in de Annex neemt de bezoeker mee bij het verlaten van de tentoonstelling. We hopen dat de hedendaagse kunst de blik verruimt en dat de bezoeker de tentoonstelling op de terugweg met een andere bril op gaat zien.
