Headdresses with big, soft ears, white knitted clothing, slings, crutches and masks adorned the models of the 'rabbit parade' on the catwalk in 2011. The Danish designer Kim Traeger based this Bachelor collection on a story he wrote himself about a run-over rabbit that ends up in hospital. Originally to "add some humour" but also in particular to search for inspiration elsewhere: by letting one's fantasy run riot there is more room for extensive research and for innovative use of materials and techniques. His love of texture drives Traeger to create diverse fabrics using different techniques. The use of white links up with the image of a hospital but also unifies the collection.
