In het kader vana het Nederlands Filmfestival 2004 was in het Centraal Museum een programma met korte films en ruimtelijke installaties te zien. Deze eerste editie, onder de titel As the world turns, gaf een actueel overzicht van internationale tendensen in de Nederlandse beeldende kunst. Het programma was samengesteld door Joke Ballintijn, Annet Dekker en Karel Doing.
