Guided tour: Queerness, gender and sexuality in art

Let yourself be guided past artworks that raise questions, push boundaries and tell stories that often remain underrepresented. During this tour, we look at works in the museum’s permanent collection from a queer perspective. Here, queer serves as a broad term for anything that falls outside the traditional norms of heterosexuality and being cisgender. At the same time, queer also represents a critical stance: a way of looking that questions, challenges and reinterprets existing ideas about gender and sexuality.
