Art in the streets of Zuilen and Wittevrouwen
From May 10 to June 26, 2025, Zuilen and Wittevrouwen will transform into an open-air gallery. During Kunstroute De Wijk in just admire your art by Utrecht makers on the street. An ordinary walk suddenly becomes something special. Thanks to poetic additions, artworks and locations take on a new meaning and you see the neighborhood with different eyes.
The route takes you through a variety of works by Utrecht makers, from paintings and photography to installations. By showing art directly in the street, we bring creators and local residents together in an accessible way. For this edition, the participating artists were inspired by an artwork from the Centraal Museum collection. That chosen work hangs as a print next to their own work, so that, as a visitor, you can immediately see where it comes from.
