For as long as we have existed, we have tried to bend nature to our will. Sometimes out of admiration, sometimes out of necessity. At a time when the relationship between humanity and nature is under strain, we look back in order to think ahead.

Step into Collectie Centraal and prepare to be enchanted by this treasure trove of art, design, fashion and urban history. Each themed gallery reveals more: fashion shines alongside paintings, while art from the past meets contemporary design. This allows you to discover connections between different eras and art forms for yourself. What do you see?
