Rapidly developing technology was visible in many places at the beginning of the 20th century. From 1915, for example, the clock faces on the Dom Tower could also be read at night thanks to electric lights. With atmospheric electric lighting and a steam merry-go-round, even the funfair took on a completely different appearance!
