In these architectural creations, Siham Sara Chraïbi pays homage to the 12th-century Tinmel Mosque in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Her collection La Terre (the Earth) refers to the major earthquake in 2023, in which the mosque was severely damaged. The fabrics’ earth tones combined with gold and copper are an ode to the resilience of those affected. But above all, the collection is a tribute to Mother Earth: her dynamism, fertility and natural patterns. [text 2024]
