Ensemble Afrika pied-de-poule blouson, jas, en broek, F/W 2019-20
With his debut collection We are the World, Virgil Abloh (artistic director of the Louis Vuitton men's line since 2018 ) transmits a clear message: fashion is for everyone. The classic pied-de-poule pattern of this suit repeats the shape of the African continent. Virgil Abloh, 'Every American kid draws the world map with Europe pontifically in the middle. Here we look from the other direction.' [text 2023]
