Two Stage Transfer Drawing is a performance by Dennis Oppenheim that he staged several times in the 1970s in collaboration with his partner and children. Here, we see his wife drawing on the back of their child, who then transfers that drawing onto a sheet of paper. It is a playful interpretation of the dependent bond between parent and child.
