Jurgen Bey regularly collaborates with Droog Design. Many of his designs feature unusual combinations of materials. He also frequently re-uses old furniture or tableware. For the Light Shade Shade, Bey has placed a traditional chandelier in a new, reflective jacket. When the light is on, the chandelier is visible. But when it is out, you can see only the mirrored shade, which reflects its environment. Past and present unite to form a new work.
