About the guided tour
During this free introductory tour on Sunday afternoon, a guide will help you explore the multifaceted relationship between graffiti and contemporary art.
Through paintings, sculptures, installations, photographs, videos and drawings spanning seventy years, you will discover how graffiti has become inextricably linked to art history since the 1950s. The exhibition brings together works by artists who experimented with spray paint as a new artistic medium in the 1950s and 1960s, paintings by influential graffiti artists from the 1980s, and works by contemporary artists who use graffiti as a way to explore and depict urban reality.
